Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers
What We Believe
Training should have direction.
Working hard matters, but effort is most valuable when it has purpose. Our programming is designed to develop broad, well-rounded fitness—not simply leave you exhausted.
Good coaching makes a difference.
We teach sound movement, uphold standards and help every athlete find the right level of challenge. Your progress is coached, measured and never left to chance.
Consistency is what drives results.
In CrossFit, we value mechanics, consistency, then intensity. Lasting progress doesn’t come from motivation or occasional big efforts; it comes from showing up and training well over time.
Health is bigger than the hour you spend in the gym.
Training is an important part of it, but nutrition, sleep, recovery and stress management all influence how you feel, perform and live outside the gym.
Anyone can start CrossFit.
Every movement and workout can be adjusted to meet you where you are. From there, progress comes from staying coachable, showing up consistently and being willing to do the work.
FAQs
Not at all—that’s what we’re here to help you with.
You don’t need to “get fit first” or have any previous training experience. We’ll meet you at your current level, teach you the foundations and help you build fitness progressively.
Do I need to be fit to start?
1
Yes — Every workout can be adjusted to suit your current fitness, experience and ability.
You’ll train alongside other members, but you won’t necessarily use the same weights, movements or repetitions. Our coaches will give you an appropriate version of the workout so you can train safely, work hard and achieve the intended stimulus of the session.
Will I be able to keep up in a CrossFit class?
2
Building significant muscle takes time, consistent training and the right nutrition—it doesn’t happen accidentally.
Strength training can help you become stronger, more capable and more confident in your body. If gaining muscle is one of your goals, we can also help you approach your training and nutrition accordingly.
Will CrossFit make me bulky?
3
What if I’ve never lifted weights before?
4
That’s completely fine. Many of our members had never touched a barbell before starting with us.
In CrossFit, we follow the progression of mechanics, consistency, then intensity. First, we teach you how to move well. Then we help you repeat those movements consistently before gradually adding load, speed or complexity.
If your technique begins to change, we’ll adjust the weight or movement so you can continue training safely and effectively.
What if I have an injury or physical limitation?
5
An injury or limitation doesn’t always mean you need to stop training—it may simply mean your training needs to be adjusted.
Let your coach know before class so we can understand what you’re managing and modify movements where appropriate. We’ll focus on what you can do while respecting any advice or restrictions provided by your treating healthcare professional.
If your needs require more individual attention than we can safely provide within a class, we’ll discuss the most appropriate next step with you.
